Field Service Technician Level 1

Responsible for startup and commissioning of projects, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of submersible wastewater pumps and control panels at customer sites.

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate, repair, and conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps.
• Basic troubleshooting of electrical control panels.
• Basic understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with start‑ups and emergency callouts.
• Operate and maintain a service truck with crane and out‑riggers.
• Operate industrial equipment in a shop environment such as forklift, overhead cranes, etc.
• Use various company‑provided hand and power tools.
• Accurate record‑keeping inside Xylem’s work order management system.
