Flight Test Instrumentation laboratory technician

Job Description

A vacancy for a Flight Test Instrumentation Architecture & Equipment (FTI) role in Getafe within Airbus Defence & Space. The successful applicant will join the Engineering Area of the Flight & Integration Test Centre and contribute to the full life cycle of FTI installations in an integrated laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory activities: planning, stock control, logistics (reception and delivery of materials).
• Harness manufacturing for testing equipment, based on standard FTI documentation and procedures.
• Racks harnesses manufacturing and routing, based on standard FTI documentation and procedures.
• Basic tests to be performed on FTI equipment.
• Support advanced tests such as sensor calibrations or intensive ATP to complex equipment.
• Procurement activities.
• Investigations/analysis of problems and troubleshooting to determine root causes.
