**Job Description**
This role involves safely loading and unloading steel shipments, operating propane and electric forklifts, and supporting daily warehouse operations in a steel distribution environment. You will handle heavy loads, prepare orders for shipment, and occasionally operate an overhead crane while working closely with a small, collaborative warehouse team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load and unload trucks carrying steel between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., typically handling 20–30 skids of steel per truck.
+ Operate propane and electric forklifts to move, stage, and organize steel loads, selecting the appropriate equipment based on load size and weight.
+ Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
