Frontend Designer

About the Role

Ruby Labs is building and scaling a high‑growth D2C product used by hundreds of thousands of customers globally. We move fast, ship often, and design quality is a core driver of conversion, retention, and product trust. We are looking for a Frontend Designer with deep design instincts and strong front‑end skills—someone who can take real ownership of how our product looks, feels, and scales visually. We do not use Figma; design is collaborative and built directly in code, typically starting from wireframes. You’ll define and evolve our design system, set the visual bar, and ship UI that reflects it across multiple surfaces of the product. This is not a junior or mid‑level execution role. We want someone with strong opinions on design and design systems, who can set direction and ship the work themselves. This is not a 9‑5 role; we expect ownership and rapid delivery.
