Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join AtkinsRéalis' Geotechnical team in Calgary, AB. The role involves supporting a variety of projects across Alberta and potentially other parts of Canada. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong understanding of soil mechanics, proven detailed design experience, excellent project execution and delivery skills, and a desire to further refine their technical skillset.

Your Role

• Undertake geotechnical assessments, complex analysis, design calculations and detailed designs with efficient use of specialized software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience and PLAXIS.
• Contribute to the development of project proposals/cost estimates and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects.
