DS is currently seeking a Materials Inspection & Testing Engineering Technician to support projects in the Ottawa area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field technician looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and growing engineering consulting environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspection and testing services for civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Perform compaction testing of soils and asphalt using nuclear density gauges.
• Carry out concrete testing and inspection in accordance with applicable standards.
• Conduct subgrade soil evaluations and field observations.
• Collect material samples and complete field documentation and reporting.
