Job Description

As the Global Commodity Manager, you will be highly regarded for your technical and commercial knowledge of the commodity’s technology, industry and supplier relationships to optimize Jabil’s total cost of ownership and continuity of supply for the commodity. You will develop, execute and measure a global sourcing strategy for your commodity to meet Jabil’s supply chain management and business goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate expertise in assigned commodities and competency in all aspects of the commodity’s supply chain management deliverables

  • Develop the supply base to meet Jabil’s business and supply chain goals and objectives

  • Negotiate supplier contracts

  • Negotiate pricing and other business terms and conditions

  • Serve as a point of escalation to leverage executive level supplier relationships in resolving complex commercial and supply chain issues
