Summary:

• The Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating enterprise compute platforms across a hybrid environment spanning on-prem data centers and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• This role focuses heavily on Google Compute Engine (GCE), cloud-native hypervisors, VMware virtualization, Unix OS, and workload migrations across cloud and on-prem environments.
• The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can translate architectural designs into scalable, automated, and production-ready solutions while driving standardization, automation, and operational excellence across Linux-based environments and IBM Power Systems platforms.
