A well-established, high-volume seafood restaurant in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Head Chef to take the reins of their kitchen operation. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be responsible for the full kitchen function, from menu development and daily service to team management and cost control. The ideal candidate is confident running a busy kitchen, maintains high standards under pressure, and knows how to get the best out of their team.
Responsibilities Leading and managing the kitchen brigade across all sections. Managing stock, conducting regular stock takes and minimizing wastage. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Training, mentoring and performance managing kitchen staff.
