Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Heavy‑Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations. The position is based in Greater Sudbury (Onaping), Ontario. This is a full‑time, permanent, unionized position. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $39.72 to $41.82 per hour, with wage progression based on apprenticeship level and hours completed; the position is eligible for applicable bonuses. This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy. Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Completion of a Post‑Secondary Diploma Program (exempt from Trades School) or
• Proof of exemption from Level 1, 2 and 3 Trades School or
• Completion of all 3 levels of Trades School
• Acceptable work experience that includes 2 years of trade‑related work experience
