Program Overview

Permanent work. Language: English. Hours: 40 hours per week. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience: 2–3 years. Work setting: Various locations. Landscape contractor.

Tasks

  • Research, troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
  • Perform other routine maintenance.
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance.
