Responsibilities

• A helper in a tailoring shop assists tailors and seamstresses with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the shop. They support the main tailor by preparing materials, organizing the workspace, and performing basic sewing or finishing tasks under supervision.
• Material Preparation: Assist with cutting fabrics, measuring, and laying out patterns for garments.
• Sewing Assistance: Help with basic sewing tasks such as stitching hems, attaching buttons, or sewing linings, under the guidance of a tailor.
• Ironing and Pressing: Use steam irons to press garments and ensure a neat, professional finish.
