HGV Class 1 Driver

Apply today to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client in Tilbury, Essex, delivering and collecting to/from RDCs and fridge work. The role offers consolidated rates of £20.70 – £24.65 per hour with fixed shift patterns and adhoc work available.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers
• Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
• Conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations
