Title: HR Coordinator

Position Summary: The position is based in Truro, NS and reports to the HR Manager. The HR Coordinator is responsible to help cover our staffing needs for a 6 month period. The HR Coordinator responsibilities include coordinating our hiring and orientation process, sourcing qualified candidates and applying advanced interviewing techniques.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Meet with hiring managers and HR to discuss the hiring needs and formulate strategy.
  • Design and coordinate the hiring process.
  • Source qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking etc.
  • Help establish connections with professional groups, communities and other organizations.
  • Select and present qualified candidates to hiring teams.
