Job Description

HSE CoordinatorReporting to the HSE Manager, the Senior HSE Coordinator will work to ensure compliance with Bird Construction Industrial Health, Safety and Environment Management Program, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and the client site-specific requirements.

This position is based on a project site in Kamloops, BC.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Collaboratively work with site leadership to develop and facilitate an overall proactive safety culture on the work site.

  • Act as a resource to field personnel to provide coaching, mentoring, and advice on all HSE related matters.

  • Ensure that hazards associated with the work site are identified, documented, and controlled.

  • Ensure all incidents on the worksite are reported, investigated, and documented in accordance with Bird Construction and client requirements, and corrective action plans are implemented.
