Job Summary:
The IMMEX Coordinator is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with the IMMEX program at the plant. This role oversees all import/export operations, maintains accurate records for temporary imports, coordinates with customs authorities, and leads internal and external audits. The coordinator also supervises analysts responsible for fixed assets and inventory, and works closely with finance, logistics, and compliance teams.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with IMMEX and Mexican customs regulations.
- Reconcile and analyze discrepancies related to physical inventory balances against the system (inventory) on a monthly basis.
- Verify compliance with the permitted storage periods for temporary goods (art. 108 Ley Aduanera) and work with the materials department to develop strategies to avoid having material out of time.
