Innovation Business Developer with engineering background

At i2CAT, we are looking for an Innovation Business Developer with an engineering background to lead our strategy in the Dual‑Use sector. Your mission will be to transform the disruptive potential of advanced digital technologies into strategic solutions that reinforce industrial competitiveness and technological sovereignty. You won’t just identify opportunities; you will be the architect of R&D&I projects that define the digital future at both national and international levels.

Location: Pier 01, Tech Barcelona, Port of Barcelona.

Your role:

• Identify and prospect business opportunities within the dual‑use domain, detecting cross‑cutting needs between the civil sector and the security/defence industry.
• Lead the full sales and pre‑sales cycle from initial need detection to the presentation and defense of proposals.
