Jr Robotics Validation Engineer

Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Proficiency with: Python (write test scripts and debug startup scripts), C++ (understand/read), Linux (navigate Linux operating system)
• Expertise in verification and validation of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems, ideally robotics
• Expertise in root cause analysis and reliability growth
• Familiarity with ROS – Executing main stack in ROS, using various ROS messages, understand messaging structure (do not need to be fluent enough to dive in and write ROS scripts)
• Understanding of EtherCAT protocols for troubleshooting
• Familiarity with RTPreempt and Linux kernel configuration
• Proven experience developing and debugging real-time, multithreaded software systems
• Familiarity with issue ticketing, reporting, and tracking, ideally with Jira and/or Salesforce
