Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the teacher in planning and maintaining a safe, clean, learning environment and in assuring the wellbeing and safety of the children in her care.
  • Maintains a positive, calm attitude and a soft voice in the classroom.
  • To supervise the children where appropriate and to protect them from dangerous or harmful situations, as directed by the Room Leader.
  • To assist in the preparation of snacks, set up and clear away meal times and supervision of children during meal times.
