Qualifications and Experience

: · Grade 12 diploma. · Current Safe Food Handling certificate would be an asset. · First Aid training would be an asset. · Good working knowledge of the nutritional needs of children. · Basic knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines governing the food service industry. · Food service experience at other institutions such as schools or hospitals would be an asset. · Related training or experience would be an asset. · Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.Required Skills, Duties and Abilities: · Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as the ability to engage and build teamwork among volunteers. · Ability to work with minimal supervision. · Possess good organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and oral) skills. · Comfortable working with students. · Serve food to students as instructed. · Wash pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cutlery, etc. and replace in appropriate areas. · General cleaning of kitchen...
