Department: Clinical Laboratory Specimen Management
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
+ Prepares specimens for stat and routine testing/analysis or transport to external laboratory.
+ Responsibilities:
+ Receives, accessions, and tracks specimens in the department's information system(s).
+ Verifies accuracy of collected specimens against orders. Prepares specimens for testing or shipment to external laboratory.
+ Disposes of specimens according to policies and procedures.
+ Maintains specimen handling and testing supplies as necessary to ensure an adequate inventory. Performs clerical t...
