About the Role

Ludham Primary School and Nursery in the Norfolk Broads is looking for a committed, energetic, and emotionally intelligent Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant. The role is temporary for three terms, with the possibility of becoming permanent from April 2027, and may be full‑time or job share.

Responsibilities

  • Support a wide range of children to access learning, develop independence, and thrive socially and emotionally.
  • Work flexibly across the school, contributing to high‑quality provision, including outdoor learning and Forest School activities.
  • Support teachers to meet the needs of all pupils – from those requiring targeted SEND support to those ready for greater depth and challenge.
  • Provide consistency, empathy, and high expectations in supporting children with SEND.
