  • A leasing assistant works with property managers to help lease residential or commercial properties. They perform a variety of administrative tasks, including customer service, marketing, and financial record keeping.
  • Customer service: Greet visitors, answer phones, and provide information about the property and leasing process
  • Marketing: Prepare marketing materials and assist with advertising to attract new tenants
  • Financial record keeping: Collect rent and security deposits, and maintain financial records
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required. Some employers may prefer candidates with a college degree or coursework in real estate, business, or a related field.
