Our client, a highly regarded Labour & Employment law firm in Toronto, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to lawyers specializing in employment litigation and labour law matters.
  • Prepare, proofread, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of documents with various courts and tribunals (e.g., Ontario Labour Relations Board, Human Rights Tribunal).
  • Coordinate discovery and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, evidence, and witness lists.
  • Maintain and organize client files, both paper and electronic, ensuring all materials are updated and accessible.
