Responsibilities
- Monitor Global Fundamentals: Conduct in-depth analysis of the global LNG market, including monitoring supply and demand fundamentals, shipping dynamics, and storage levels.
- Track Geopolitical Factors: Monitor geopolitical events, regulatory changes, and market news to assess their potential impact on LNG markets.
- Develop Market Views: Formulate and clearly communicate a forward‑looking market view to internal stakeholders, especially trading and commercial teams, to inform and shape trading strategies.
- Identify Opportunities and Risks: Help identify market opportunities, assess risks, and provide data‑driven recommendations to maximize profitability.
- Build and Maintain Models: Develop, maintain, and enhance a suite of analytical quantitative models and tools (often using Python or SQL) to forecast global balances, price movements, and market volatility.
