Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing

Working Hours: 8 hours per day Monday to Friday. This equates to 40 hours per week, with mandatory overtime up to 50 hours per week if required to complete the daily collections.

Overview

Reporting to the Refuse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and sort glass boxes when required.
  • Collect various wastes, including food, glass, cans, plastic, paper, card, and any other waste directed by the Contract Manager.
  • Transport loose food caddies and plastic boxes to various tipping points throughout the district.
  • Assist in cleaning the depot and vehicles as required, with training provided where necessary.
