JOB TITLE: Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY:
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and assemblies. This role ensures adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while supporting continuous product flow in the manufacturing process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Machine setup & operation: Operate conventional and CNC machines to exact tolerances.
• Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine machining sequences.
• Precision measurement: Use machinist hand tools and instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Quality monitoring: Verify product quality using statistical process control or other methodologies.
• Assembly & finishing: Perform deburring, drilling, grinding, honing, and fitting of parts into mechanical equipment.
