Machining Head

Job Purpose:

Lead Manufacturing operations in machine shops while maintaining workplace safety and product quality as per regulatory standards and customer requirements and fostering culture of continuous improvement.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategy for machining operations in line with the objectives of manufacturing organization.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) related to machining, such as production output, cycle times, OEE, COPQ, Process Capability and equipment utilization. Monitor progress periodically.
• Oversee daily machining operations, ensuring production plans are achieved. Conduct daily reviews to troubleshoot and eliminate obstructions to flow bottlenecks.
• Evaluate, select and commission machining equipment, tools and technologies to improve productivity, safety, quality and productivity.
