Machining Technician

Job Summary A Machining and Tooling Technician sets up, operates, and maintains CNC and manual machines (lathes, milling, grinders) to fabricate precision parts, tools, and fixtures. They interpret technical drawings, perform troubleshooting, and ensure quality standards are met to support production. Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate conventional and CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding) to fabricate tools, dies, and precision parts according to specifications Construct, repair, and maintain dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to support production and troubleshoot tool breakdowns promptly Use precision measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, and micrometers to inspect parts and verify compliance with blueprint specifications Maintain accurate maintenance records, shop papers, and update tooling procedure documentation to ensure traceability and process consistency Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement improvements in tool performance and manufac...
