Overview

The Machinist operates machine tools to produce parts needed for the maintenance or repair of equipment, ensuring that equipment reliability targets are met.

Responsibilities

  • Check and conduct repairs of equipment parts through machining
  • Operate, adjust, and set up the lathe machine
  • Fabricate parts that can be done in-house
  • Assist in maintenance, repair, and installation activities
  • Coordinate tools and materials needed for machinery work
  • Monitor and report the condition of machines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards at all times
