Join our Mainframe Engineering function as a DB2 System Specialist, where you'll take ownership of installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM DB2 systems that power mission‑critical banking platforms. What You'll Do
Install and maintain IBM DB2 - Lead installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DB2 and related tooling (DB2 CA, DB2 Connect, Data Studio).
Optimise system performance - Tune, monitor, and troubleshoot DB2 subsystems to ensure high availability and efficiency.
Engineer mainframe automation - Reduce manual effort and operational risk by enhancing automation across the DB2 environment.
Act as a DB2 Systems Programming expert - Serve as a senior technical authority for DB2 internals, RACF integration, and subsystem behaviour.
