Job Summary
The assistant manager will be responsible for all aspects of the cement terminal operations including: Management of all aspects of cement reception and delivery. Rail, truck and/or barge reception and rail loading where applicable as well as truck reception when and where applicable.
Job Responsibilities
Assistant manager will be responsible for implementing and overseeing CEMEX Health and Safety management systems and processes Operate terminals in compliance with all state & federal safety and environmental standards Manage costs as well as manage inventories to avoid stock outs and or demurrage Plan, develop and implement strategies to maximize production and reduce costs In conjunction with the terminal manager, develop and manage a terminal budget Responsible for process improvements, and staffing of plant to ensure operational efficiency Foster teamwo...
