Role Overview

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large secondary school based in Shirebrook, Derbyshire. The college is a wonderful place to work with excellent connections and support available.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full‑time basis for the remainder of the summer term. There are plenty of gaps between lessons to prepare and even take a break. This role will include preparation for GCSEs. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Responsibilities

The successful Maths Teacher will:

• Prepare and deliver lessons for GCSE Mathematics.
• Implement the school's schemes of learning and support student progress.
• Use assessment to guide teaching and help students achieve excellent results.
