We are recruiting on behalf of a well–established manufacturing business seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers to develop practical engineering solutions, produce detailed manufacturing drawings, and support projects throughout the full design lifecycle.

The Role

• Working directly with customers to develop engineering solutions
• Supporting the quoting and tendering process
• Producing conceptual designs for bespoke machinery/equipment
• Creating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings to BS8888 standards
