Introduction

The purpose of a Mechanical Design Engineer is to design, develop, and improve mechanical components, systems, or products by applying engineering principles and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities Specify, design, develop, and evaluate precision mechanical and electro-mechanical products, subsystems, or components. Participate in failure diagnostics processes as required for customer and product support. Detailed analysis of test results and, where necessary failure analysis to initiate corrective actions.
