Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsiblities Perform concept and designs in area of system integration and automation of machines to meet the system specifications (required by process / automation needs) involving: Design standardization, costing and project planning Machine and module conceptualization design, design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and concurrent engineering Detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings Selection and sizing of standard components available off the shelf Undertake prototype testing studies according to accepted practice and design standards Document all design work, BOM list and preparation of manual according to design standards and company procedures Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
