Position Description

You will serve as a Exploratory Development System Engineer and Design SME in the Research & Development Group, Weapons & Energetics Dept, Weapons Development Div of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will Exercise direct authority to make critical decisions regarding the cost, schedule, and performance of the XDEV portfolio, ensuring all projects align with technical requirements and Command strategic objectives.
  • You will act as a primary representative for NAWCWD to other DoD components and external agencies for business development, technical exchange meetings, and program status updates.
  • You will prepare and deliver complex technical and programmatic briefings to high-level leadership within NAWCWD and across external partner agencies to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
