Job Description
This role will be responsible for creating the narrative structure, writing screenplay, dialogues and assisting with implementation of cutscenes / quests inside the game engine (Unity). They will be part of a small design team and work closely with the lead game designer. They will collaborate with VO / mocap artists, level designers and assist with creation of in-game cutscenes that are in line with the vision and emotional experience of the game as defined by our creative director.
Responsibilities:
- Come up with an engaging narrative that evokes the desired emotional response
- Maintain pacing of the narrative to keep the player engaged
- Create and define characters, their backstory, motivations, etc. for the game
- Write screenplay and dialogues for in-game cutscenes, tutorials, NPC conversations
- Plan locations, characters, props, etc. that are needed
