Operating Room (OR) Scheduler
Location: University Hospital/Medical Center
The Operating Room (OR) Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures in a fast-paced university hospital environment. This role ensures efficient use of operating room resources, maintains accurate scheduling records, and serves as a key liaison between surgeons, clinical staff, and support departments to facilitate seamless surgical operations.
+ Schedule surgical procedures across multiple specialties in accordance with surgeon availability, patient needs, and operating room capacity
+ Coordinate with surgeons’ offices, anesthesia, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure complete and accurate scheduling information
+ Verify patient demographics, procedure details, and required documentation in the scheduling system
