Operations Engineer - Secondment

Rheaume Engineering Inc. is seeking a full‑time Operations Engineer for a secondment position supporting one of our long‑term clients, based in either Whitecourt or Fox Creek, Alberta. The secondment term is at least six months, with the opportunity to continue working for Rheaume after the secondment.

Role Description

• Work with operations to identify plant issues and create MOC projects
• Collect field data to support engineering
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute multidisciplinary detailed engineering
• Liaise with project managers, clients, vendors, discipline leads, and support staff
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and HAZOPs
• Identify and manage changes to project scope/cost/schedule
• Review plot plans, PFDs, and P&IDs
• Review line, valve, tie‑in, car‑seal, and specialty item lists; PVF and instrument BOMs
