Job Description
Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on a car carrier trading worldwide. Be part of a professional deck crew, keeping the vessel safe, clean and ready for sea.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist deck officers and bosun with daily deck work
- Handle mooring lines during arrival and departure
- Carry out chipping, painting and general maintenance
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
- Keep decks, gangways and work areas clean and safe
- Assist with cargo operations as directed
**Requirements**:
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
- Valid seaman’s book and medical certificate
- Experience on ocean-going vessels preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty and able to work in a team
- Willing to work worldwide on car carriers
