Take on a pivotal leadership role as Director of Software Engineering at Dominion Dynamics in Ottawa. Develop software solutions for innovative defence systems while managing a growing team.
This role is at the heart of our cutting-edge technology initiatives, overseeing the execution of complex software systems. Working closely with the CTO and other leaders, you will lead a rapidly expanding team while maintaining hands-on involvement in software design and implementation. Your ability to adapt to challenging environments will be critical in delivering operationally constrained solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for software systems across multiple domains
• Foster a results-driven culture within the engineering team
• Engage hands-on in coding, architecture, and debugging
• Ensure development of secure, scalable software
• Align closely with hardware requirements and timelines
Requirements:
• 10+ years in software engineering team leadership
