Part Time Lab Patient Technician Position

Become a vital part of patient care as a Part Time Lab Patient Technician. This role involves specimen collection and client interaction in Whitby, Oshawa, Pickering, and Scarborough.
In this part-time float role, you will greet patients and guide them through the specimen collection process. Phlebotomy and ECG skills are helpful. Your day will include essential tasks like patient data entry, specimen preparation, and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain the specimen collection process
• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings as needed
• Collect data for medical/legal tests and clinical trials
• Respond to client inquiries and maintain relationships
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program preferred
• Phlebotomy and ECG experience is an asset
