Role Summary Research Scientist – Patent Department supports patent searching, freedom to operate analysis, drafting, and prosecution activities for inventions. Key Responsibilities Literature search to support R&D activities Conduct patentability- analyse prior art to assess novelty and inventive step Conduct freedom‑to‑operate searches Preparing and Filing Response in the Patent Office Drafting patent specification. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of organic chemistry Strong knowledge of Indian Patent Act Patent search and prior‑art analysis skills Understanding of patent Analytical thinking and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Qualification & Experience M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) 5 to 8 years of work experience in Intellectual property rights (Patents) Good communication skills
