Performance Engineer (Plant Performance)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Performance Engineer (Plant Performance) supports Asset Management and Plant Operations by monitoring, analysing, and optimising plant and equipment performance. The role focuses on improving efficiency, heat rate, output, availability, and resource utilisation through data analysis and performance improvement initiatives, working closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to sustain plant performance and achieve business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and analyse plant and equipment performance indicators, including efficiency, heat rate, output, availability, and losses, to identify performance gaps and degradation trends.
• Conduct thermodynamic and heatrate calculations to identify efficiency gaps, perform performance analysis and testing, and benchmark and validate equipment and systems against design specifications and expected operating conditions.
