Job Description
A pharmacy assistant supports pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining pharmacy records. They may also prepare prescription labels, assist in stock management, and ensure the pharmacy operates smoothly.
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require post‑secondary education in pharmacy technology)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under supervision in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and processes (preferred)
