Pharmacy Support Worker (PSW)

Permanent. Full time 37 hours per week. Band 2 £25,694 to £27,900.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the pharmacy team in providing accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals across NHS Borders. PSWs are the entry posts into the pharmacy career ladder with many going on to study a pharmacy qualification to become registered technicians.

Responsibilities

PSWs assist with the ordering, receipt, storage and issue of pharmaceutical products in line with departmental procedures. Duties include dispensing medicines to patients, maintaining ward stock levels, working alongside pharmacy technicians in our aseptic unit and vaccination team.
