About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a part‑time Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team at HMP Drake Hall, a women’s closed prison in Staffordshire, serving around 340 female inmates. The pharmacy is a centralised dispensary within the healthcare department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding quality, patient‑centred care, seeking, listening to and acting on patient feedback.
• Ensure safe and secure medicines management, maintaining medical records to agreed standards and following SOPs.
• Deliver non‑judgemental care within professional scope, including timely medicine administration and cost‑effective prescribing per the Health in Justice medicines policy.
• Serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
