Job Description
North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM), a tri‑municipal agency providing emergency management services to the District of North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver, and the District of West Vancouver, is seeking a Planning Assistant II (Auxiliary) to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of technical and research tasks related to NSEM planning projects.
- Conduct research and analysis on a variety of planning related topics.
- Assist with compilation, review, and presentation of NSEM planning initiatives.
- Exercise a considerable degree of independence and initiative in carrying out assignments.
- Demonstrate care and diplomacy in facilitating meetings with internal departments and external partners.
- Participate in the NSEM on‑call schedule on a monthly rotational basis.
