Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Production Scheduling – plan and manage production schedules, ensuring products are made efficiently and on time to meet shipment requirements and forecast. Check planning errors, recommend corrective action, and develop new programs to improve production control systems.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products; determine raw‑material requirements, plan raw‑material mix to maximize output and minimize work‑in‑process inventory, and allocate work‑in‑process across product lines to meet commitments and build inventories for sales forecasts.
• Coordinate planners with production and process engineering on priorities and process identification. Monitor product and process information (cycle time, bottlenecks, downtime, material input, output and yield) for material and capacity planning. Support documentation for internal and ISO9000 external audits.
